Not many supermodels have made graceful transitions from the runway to the big screen, but Lily Cole may prove an exception. The doll-faced redhead started walking in top shows all over the world at age 14, became the youngest model ever to cover British Vogue at age 16 and at 21 stars in Terry Gilliam's new fantasy film, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. And Heath Ledger, who played Cole's love interest in his last big-screen appearance and died while they were shooting. Everyone really, really loved him. Gilliam, determined to finish the project, brought the cast and crew back together about a month after Ledger's death and created a plot device that would allow shooting to continue: a magic mirror that changed the appearance of those who went behind it. Instead of playing opposite Ledger, Cole was filming scenes with Colin Farrell, Jude Law and Johnny Depp, who all stepped forward to try to finish the work their good friend had started. Depp was the first one to sign on. She filmed more of her scenes with Farrell, who "had a really hard time because he'd lost a friend and he was grieving him and he had to try and embody him. The finished product is an ambitious, if patchwork, tribute to Ledger, and Cole said his friends have found it unsettling.

Now before you go all pious and self-righteous, it's not like she didn't know she was doing it. Plus she's a model who's used to these kind of things, and it is art at the end of the day. Things we learn from the video? Well the song's a cracker, Lily isn't actually that bad an actress when she doesn't have to do any talking, and she clearly has very little boundaries when it comes to her performance, getting it on with ladies and men which we don't know if she's used to and wearing very little altogether which she's used to, as we said. Beats last time we saw her as a mermaid-demon-thing in Doctor Who. Anyway, it's semi-tastefully done, nothing full frontal, but there is a significant amount of side-boob on show. Enough to set Michelle Mulherin off on one anyway.
With just a giant teddy bear to protect her modesty model Lily Cole appears naked on the cover of French Playboy. The year-old poses in a variety of raunchy shots inside the magazine across a 14 page spread inspired by the cover of French musician Serge Gainsbourg's album Histoire de Melody Nelson. French Playboy's fashion director Alex Aikiu revealed that Lily's interview is "very intimate, very psychological".
